How to
get there

GETTING TO CAPE TOWN
Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is about 30 minutes from the city centre.
There are direct flights to Cape Town, or you can fly via Johannesburg
(O.R. Tambo International Airport).

GETTING AROUND
Uber works really well in and around Cape Town (select ‘Uber Black’ when booking, this option is more suitable for our international people).

If you’d like a private transfer, Nicola Jane (our amazing planner) can help organise airport or local transport: nicola@nicolajane.co.za

VISAS
British passports don’t require a visa to enter South Africa (for less than 30 days) for other passports, please check this website.

VACCINATIONS
No special vaccinations are required for travel to South Africa. Cape Town is malaria-free, so no need for any extra precautions.

WEATHER
November is summer in South Africa, expect hot, sunny days and cooler evenings. Pack for sunshine, but bring a light layer for the nights.

MONEY
The local currency is the South African Rand (ZAR).
As a guide, the exchange rate is roughly:
£1 = 24 ZAR
1 AED = 5 ZAR
